Admission Process and Guidelines
Admissions to SIET Sikar are conducted through centralized counselling processes prescribed by BTU Bikaner and the Government of Rajasthan.
A. Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech)
Admission to B.Tech programs for the academic session 2025–26 is conducted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), which is the centralized admission process for engineering programs in the state.
Key features of the admission process include:
Candidates apply online through the REAP portal.
A centralized merit list is prepared based on eligibility and entrance examination scores.
Candidates participate in online choice filling and seat allotment through REAP counselling.
After seat allotment, students must report to the allotted institute for document verification and confirmation of admission.
Final admission is confirmed upon payment of the prescribed fees and completion of verification procedures.
The institute also follows the reservation policy of the Government of Rajasthan for different categories of candidates.
B. Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech)
Admissions to M.Tech programs are conducted through the Centralized Admission for Masters (CAM), which is the centralized admission system for postgraduate technical programs under BTU.
The admission procedure generally includes:
Online application submission by eligible candidates through the CAM portal.
Preparation of merit lists based on GATE scores or qualifying degree marks, as per university guidelines.
Centralized counselling and seat allotment through the CAM process.
Reporting to the institute for document verification and admission confirmation.
Payment of the prescribed tuition and institutional fees.
Candidates applying for M.Tech programs must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
